WUKF World Championships – Dundee, Scotland – 13th to 16th July 2023
Kanzen Karate Scotland Athletes had the tremendous opportunity to compete at the 11th WUKF World Championships in our home city and country.
Over 5000 athletes, coaches, officials and spectators from across all five continents took part in four days of exciting competition.
Kanzen Karate Scotland finished 4th on the overall panel of medals out of 62 federations. Establishing ourselves amongst the best teams in the world delivering 15 Individual WUKF World Champions and 2 WUKF Team Champions with a final total of 17 Gold Medals, 15 Silver Medals and 18 Bronze Medals.
The performances on show from our athletes during the championships were phenomenal. On the final day of competition our children and inclusive athletes stole the show with a tremendous display of skill and determination.
