We are delighted to announce that our second Kanzen All Stars Club Championships of 2026 will be held at Kanzen Karate HQ over Saturday 7th November and Sunday 8th November 2026.
Saturday 7th November
Age 4-6 Years: 09:00 to 11:00
Age 7-8 Years: 11:30 to 14:00
Age 9-10 Years: 14:30 to 16:30
Sunday 8th November
Age 11-14 Years: 09:00 to 12:00
Age 15 Years & Above: 12:30 to 15:00
Competition is an integral part of Karate and you are encouraged to attend. The competition will be held under strict rules and sparring is a very safe and enjoyable part of Karate.
The event is open to all members regardless of age or grade and will be a great opportunity for members to experience competition, and enhance their competition ability in a relaxed environment. We look forward to welcoming you all!
Please note that spectators will ONLY be allowed in the Age 4-6 session.
We would be grateful if entries could be submitted by no later than Thursday 5th November – No late entries will be accepted. Entry fee is £15 for the day.

Kata: Athletes will be awarded points based on their Kata performance; Katas can be repeated.
Kobudo: Competitors will be awarded points based on their Weapons Kata performance; Katas can be repeated. (Kobudo Members Only)
Inclusive Combat: Athletes will perform a set Kumite Routine and will be awarded points based on their performance. (Inclusive Athletes only)
Juraken: The match is won by the judges decision – deciding which competitor demonstrated better technique, combinations, speed, and effort on their punching bag. (Age 4-8 Years)
Shobu Ippon: The match is won by two half points (Wazari) or one single point (Ippon). Mitts and gumshield are to be worn by every competitor. Mitts will be provided by Kanzen Karate. (Age 13 Years & above only).
Shobu Nihon: The match is won by four half points (Wazari) or two single points (Ippon). Mitts and headguard are to be worn by every competitor. Mitts and head pads will be provided by Kanzen Karate. (Age 12 Years & below only).
Shobu Sanbon: The match is won by 6 half points (Wazari) or three single points (Ippon). Mitts and gumshield are to be worn by every competitor. Mitts will be provided by Kanzen Karate. (Age 13 & above only).
Gumshields are available from the coaching team priced £4 and must be worn by competitors aged 13 Years & above.
We understand that newer members may be apprehensive about competition, and this is normal. Members need not worry as they will have an enjoyable competition and feel a real sense of achievement by competing.
